Cumberland Heights Outpatient Recovery Center (ORC) on Music Row in downtown Nashville offers a range of substance use disorder treatment services at flexible hours.
Every patient will have an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs. Many of our patients who receive treatment for substance use disorder have a co-occurring illness such as depression or anxiety. Our caring, compassionate and knowledgeable clinical staff has the tools to meet the specific needs of all our patients.

The Music Row ORC offers individual counseling, experiential learning groups, family education groups and group counseling. We believe in a multi-faceted treatment plan that focuses on education about substance use disorder, disease progression, family involvement and recovery tools.

Counselor
Cindy is an advanced Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working in substance abuse treatment.She has spent 15 of those years working with Cumberland Heights.Cindy incorporates CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Experiential therapy in her work. Her graduate work is focused on Neuroplasticity and Clinical Psychopharmacology. She believes meeting a patient where they are and being fully present for them is key to healing.

Marion Turner is a Licensed Counselor with five plus years of experience working in addiction and mental health. Prior to working at Cumberland Heights, Marion served in community mental health as a dual diagnosis therapist, working with individuals and families with both substance use disorders and other mental health issues. Marion believes in creating a safe container for healing – right on Music Row in the heart of Nashville. She says, “Our room of refuge has seen tears but also experienced a lot of laughter.”

Cindy Spelta

As someone in long-term recovery and has been in the field since 2000, Cindy Spelta is dedicated to relapse prevention. Cindy started working at Cumberland Heights in 2007 as a counselor and Gorski Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist and now serves at the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services. Cindy, A Nationally Certified Addiction Counselor and a LADAC II in the state of TN, wants to provide an environment filled with hope and healing. She’s passionate about helping those who are struggling find peace, health, happiness and quality of life. Cindy is also the organizer of Nashville’s annual RecoveryFest.
